Fast Snake in the pool id what may it be

Found this tiny guy in the pool size of a pencil told my girlfriend I would not hold it till I know what it is. My thought was an grey oaks snake but I don't really know

some sort of Coluber (racer). I'd need to be near my field guides for potential full ID.
