Huge Black Rat Snake

I've seen some big Black Rats here in Tennessee, but this may be the biggest I've ever seen. I'm estimating it close to 7 feet.

Did he dive into the water to escape? Looks like that is what is on his mind in the last picture.

No pictures but I was up in the Tennessee side of the smoky mountains last week and saw two very large black rats snakes. First time I seen them in the wild. Very impressed with how stout and big they were.

Nice! I've seen them over 6' here in MD, impressive snakes for sure. My captive bred white sided is pretty hefty and over 6' as well.
