The mother (Sunglow Mot) was bred by, and came from, Don Soderberg.
Don, also, bred (or breeds) Sunglow Stripes.
So, I guess, anything is possible (as far as the Mot being het Stripe).
However, unless I am mistaking crossovers, for being a Motley (or Striped Motley) pattern ... it would seem that she is not.
I figured that the tendency toward a Stripe's head pattern (on some), and what somewhat looks like cubing in the latter part of a few babies bodies, were due to the fact that the babies are 100% het Stripe.
You have made me start wondering, though, and I think I will have to go give the babies' patterns a real good looking over.

You really think so?
Some had me scratching my head a bit. Those particular individuals have some patterning, that lends toward Stripe (head pattern, of a Stripe, and the portions, that are Striped, are like those of a Stripe, rather than the Striped Motley pattern, etc.), but ... what really threw me off is that I thought the mother was a homozygous Motley (so, did not expect Stripes, of any form, at all).
I, also, don't have much experience, with the cubed patterning of (&/or crossovers on) Stripes .. so, I guess that didn't help matters either.
However, I believe you may be right ... it seems that my Motley gal is, actually, a Motley-Stripe (Motley phenotype but het for Stripe & Motley) and that those babies, who had me scratching my head, are Stripes.

Thanks, Fred.
Several are about to have their second shed. Looking forward to it.
I think I will be posting their photos as each one sheds.
Really need to start thinking about parting with most of these young'uns.<sigh>
