Substrate?

Hello everyone! So I just got my first corn snake, and I'm wondering what's the best substrate to use? I was looking at Coconut fiber, but wasn't to sure about it. My snake is less than a year (born Septemeber 2017). I have newspaper right now, but I think she'd be happier with something she could burrow in a bit. Maybe if I shredded the newspaper? Anyways, what do you guys suggest? Thanks in advance!

I also use aspen. Its a little drier than coco and absorbs the urates a little better plus its easier to find the poop on the lighter color. I typically buy mine in bulk from amazon or a feed store, it's way cheaper than buying small bags at the pet stores.

If you are close to Negaunee there's a Tractor Supply that has 2 cubic feet of Aspen bedding for $12.99. That will last a long time. It used to be much cheaper, but so did everything else too.
