Any cons that you have found?

Only 2....

1- best to add another 1" wide piece across the floor of the door area to keep the Aspen in the tank...tends to fall out when you open the door since the lip is only about 1/2" lip otherwise.

2- If you don't have a heated room it cause issues....undertank heaters work good for the hotspot but you can't place a basking lamp on the glass or it'll crack. But I have a heated room so not an issue for me. But then that also depends on the species you wish to keep in them.

How would you go about adding this extra bit to keep the aspen in? Just cut it so the space is there and bolt it in?

I would assume Brad would use a revit.. I would probably cut the piece and use sealant.

Pretty much just cut the width you want and use a 2 part expoxy to affix it into place.

Thanks. Got a friend who is willing to help me with this so I will finally be able to stop being annoyed with the space my 10 gals take up so I'll be able to get more!
