Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

New to snakes!

Snakes aren't on a definite timetable for shedding. Some shed quickly and others drag the process out longer. Usually they go into the "blue" phase and their eyes become cloudy. Their skin becomes dull looking and usually darker. Then they go through the "clear" phase where it would appear that they have already shed, but they haven't. They usually shed a few days after the clear phase. My corns typically complete the whole shedding process within 10 days, but I have had some that take two weeks.

I don't really take notice of how long the process takes them, but I do want to make sure the shed was complete, including all the tail and the eye caps.

He finished his shed and seems good. I held him a little and he was fine.

Next step feeding!
