Go girls!

Following last night's hook-up, Pearl took 2 medium mice and was looking for more.

You got yourself some lovely hungry snakes! Who did you hook Pearl up with? Good luck with your eggs and babies too!!

Another hook-up with Slim, and 3 small mice down the hatch!

I couldn't feel any 'string of pearls' effect, but Pearl is an eating machine and was trying to bite me so I gave her 2 small adult mice to save my fingers. I didn't risk picking her up after either as she was still in hunt mode, just tipped her gently into her tub

Thanks Elle. She's gained 30 grams since the hook-up so I'm hopefull that she is gravid. Her appetite has certainly increased, although she's always been a good feeder she's a moody, hungry beast now!

Calamity has remained my fussiest eater, refusing quite often unless I've got live or f/k for her. This has slowed her growth so I'm going to have to start another group of mice soon. Annie the ghost mot and Nellie the 'okeetee' have no such problems so despite being a few months younger they are a good 20 grams bigger than her. Nellie still isn't colouring up much, I don't think she's ever going to rival Raven!

Finally got some pictures showing very near to my christmas corn Lola Montez's true colours. Flash or too-bright sunlight emphasises the oranges too much, dull light makes her too dark.

here's my(IMO) pretty normal, Sundance today. I'm going to redecorate when I get the chance, so I thought I'd get some more shots of her against the soon-to-go orange wall
