Question about feeding two pinkies

I weighed Phoenix today and he's at 12.34 grams (which I love), so he's not yet at the 2 pinkies mark but I want to make sure I'm prepared before he hits it. Mostly I'm wondering...what's the best way to feed a corn two prey items at once? I see it mentioned all the time but no techniques ever seem to come up. I assume you have to wait until the first pinky is completely swallowed, but should you then feed right away or wait a little while? I'm not sure if corns are generally willing to eat after they've gone into post-food hiding, but I figure that's what this forum is for.

First of all if you don't want to feed two pinkies you don't have to. You can just sort your mice and gradually move up in size. When I have fed two, I start with the smallest I have. For example if I have been feeding 3 gram single pinkies, I start feeding double with 2x 2 gram pinkies.

Just feed the first as normal. When the first is swallowed and the snake seems to start looking around, offer the second. I have only ever had a refusal of the second when a snake was in early shed and I couldn't tell yet.

Some people chain feed and just put the nose of the second mouse against the first and the snake keeps swallowing. I have never found that to be necessary. I am of course assuming frozen thawed in all of this.

Generally after they go into post feeding hiding they should be left alone and not offered more. They probably won't be interested at that point but all snakes are different. I personally would not do it that way even if the snake takes it.

I usually just leave the second one in the enclosure, and they eat it after they're done with the first one.
