Were there ever incompatible lines of amel?

I've got someone on another forum claiming there used to be, in okeetee lines, an amelanism A and amelanism B that were genetically incompatible with each others. This is not something I have EVER heard of. Is this true?

I have heard of this happening when someone bred emoryi amels into creamsicles? Only rumors though.
