How long before your snake came out of hiding?

I cut up a tube that a poster came in and put them in the vivs and they both love them one is on the cool side and the other ones on the warm side. I have noticed this week that Hunter starts roaming around roughly 9 or so even with the table lamp on. But if I turn the overhead light on he goes back into hiding.

Sherbert on the other hand, always stays coiled up in the tubes.
