I watched my asian vine eat today. It was almost terrifying to see her tiny, thin little body stretch like that, but the lizard was gone in no time! No problems were had and I was amazed. It's definitely different from watching my corn eat a meal.

Oh of course! Since Tetra is a secret to my whole family except for my mother, I love uploading pictures of her, since this is the only place I can show her off lol

Woah. I didn't know vine snakes changed color like that after eating. That's really cool!

It's actually a defense technique they use. If you look at pictures of an Asian Vine in a defensive pose...

they stretch their bodies out vertically to showcase the colors between the scales, in addition to making themselves look larger.
