"Old" is, inevitably, a state of mind. But in looking at the numbers, "old" is always 15 to 25 years older than you.
Now get offa my lawn, ya punks.

I've only seen snakes and alligators at the surface. I've seen some pretty cool eels, though. They can be friendly and want to be petted- especially freshwater eels. One of the rarest things I've seen is a blind cave salamander. It looks like a white toothpick.

Oh, my dad told me about how he always pets eels when he goes diving around Guam and Chuke.
And he sees like packs of 100 sharks beneath him sometimes..white or black tipped? or something like that..
And he'll see 8 ft wide manta rays..I think I'd wet my pants if I went diving..
I have a hard enough time swimming in the deep end of a swimming pool..Being under water just freaks me out..

Haha..It's not that easy..
And my dad really pushes it when he goes diving..
He got hypothermia once from staying in too long at night without a wetsuit..
And one time he got sick from I forget what that stuff is called..But I think he came back up too quick..
He really likes to push the limits

Actually, that's a popular myth. Hitting a shark in the nose does absolutely nothing, aside from making you feel like you just punched a brick wall. In the event you are being attacked, the eyes and the gills are two of the few soft spots on sharks.
Incidentally, many people mistake a shark's curiosity for an attack.
