Growing to fast?

Hi,

I have a new young corn snake. There was a statement that corn snakes will grow to fast if feed to much. Is this true?

In my opinion slow, steady growth is preferable to pushing the limits of growth. I don't even believe rapid growth is all bad, provided the corn isn't storing internal fat and appearing obese. That is an unhealthy condition that may lead to problems later.

I feel like an animal such corn snake still need to have a proper diet. You wouldn't want to grow fast and be unhealthy in the future.
