Shed twice in a week!

I have an eighteen month old cornsnake that sheds evey 5-8 weeks. The weekend before the "The Fourth" I skipped feeding because I noticed it had been in shed. Monday morning there was a perfect shed in the enclosure.

I had the snake out yesterday during some housekeeping and thought it looked dull. Tonight, I find another perfect shed in the enclosure.

Nothing has changed with temps or feeding. The snake is housed alone.

Just thought this was odd. Maybe others will tell me it's common.

It's usually because of an injury, maybe a scrape or rub? It can also be caused by mites.

Could be just "one of those things"! Hope the snake is fine and things go on as usual.
