Incomplete Scale

SnakeCreations

Ophiolatress
Greetings!

My question is twofold, first - I am wondering if anyone has seen anything like this? Two of my snakes, from the same clutch, have this incomplete scale on the top of their head. It reminds me of sutures in babies skulls, as if the scales just didn't complete the development.

Second - is it anything to worry about?

First pic is 2018, second is same snake in 2019.

Thanks, Mystic and Shiari.

When they shed, there is evidence that the 'blank' spot has a shed as well. That seems as though it should be encouraging. As if the spot is normal scale. We'll see.

Thanks for the input!
