$20 For Both!!!

Ruderacer

So Cal Snake Addict
While checking out craigslist we found these two. The owner only wanted $20 for the two of them. SCORE!!!! Introducing our newest, Stoli the Ghost and Katja, who we think is a Hypo. They are both very under weight, but we will resolve that! Previous owner was clueless:nope:

fortunatly they caught on and realized that they needed to take action rather than continue starving the poor things

Congrats on the "rescue"! They both look VERY NICE! Colors are awesome. I'm sure they'll look even better when they're plumped up!

KUDOS!

Sweetness...on the save/ rescue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a "rescue" female BP that I paid 60$ for. She was living in an all plexiglass coffee table, no hide, heat was a human back warmer, fed every other month, very underweight, her nose was rubbed raw with bloody scabs...Today she is about 3,500 grams, Chlorhexadine and neosporin fixed the nose better than I could've imagined, pigment came back and very little scarring, eats anything I give her about every 5 days and is an absolute sweetheart, you can "PET" her head and she just sits there...
I think "rescues" are the best animals...( just ask my dogs and cat) If they can survive the abuse then you know they're pretty hardy animals and tend to be better behaved IMHO

Wow....what a great find!! I'm happy you'll be able to provide them with a good home......Katja is very pretty too (as is the ghost)...nice names too! What do they mean?

wow.. dont get me wrong the ghost looks great. but the hypo (as we think) really caught my eye and is a beautiful looking snake. i love how there is barely any black around the saddles. but congrats on the rescue!

Yeah, great deal but the owners got a good deal too because you can't expect much money when it's a rescue and you don't care for the animals properly. And it's nicer to give the snakes proper care, than it is to sell them for 20$, congradulations.
I recently adoptped a dog (daschund mix), and he shows such gratitude for the new home. Especially compared to my spoiled German Shepherd (avatar), that has never known what it is to be lonely or hungry, so she owns the house lol.
I also got 2 Leopard geckos from a friend of a friend, he wanted money, but they had no heat and a gross tank so I convinced him I was doing a good deed just by taking them. Plus when you count in the unexpected supplies and food, I really could'nt afford to pay for them. But beautiful snakes, great deal, and you're doing a good thing.

Katja means pure in Russian and Stoli after the vodka. The names just seemed to fit them. We weighed and fed them last night. Both ate with no hesitaion, which was a relief. Katja weighed in at 93gr. and Stoli at 144gr.

Nice snag.. From time to time I will pick up animals like that and take care of them nursing them back to health..

The "hypo" could just be a normal with very little melanine.. Best way to find out for sure is breeding trials when the animal is able too..

Regards.. Tim of T and J
