Pileated Woodpecker hard at work

Saw this pileated woodpecker out back of the house working over a dead branch on the live oak tree out there. Looks like a young one to me.

I saw one of those in my neighbor's back yard in a pine tree several years ago. Since then the neighbor cut the tree down and I haven't seen one since. We have a couple other species of woodpeckers here but I've only seen that one Pileated.
