My first turtles in Florida

I found a pair of gopher turtles today a nd big ones at that basketball sized. They are fast little basterds.

Also almost stepped on a what looked like a eastern milk snake baby but it lept into the air and was gone like lightning.
 
Cool!!! Torts, not turtles. Well, al tortoises technically are turtles. It took me a while to get used to calling them "gophers" like everyone down here does.

That's cool to see a pair together, I don't think I ever have!
