Calico

So I was browsing Kingsnake and found a breeder with this "calico" corn snake for sale:

Of course, my mind jumps to Palmetto. I think was concluded that the one of the Calico corns previously inquired about on another thread here turned out to be the Palmetto.

So are all the former "calico" morphs now palmettos, or just that particular animal? What are your thoughts on the animal for sale? If it's not a palmetto, what exactly is a calico corn snake?

I apologize if there is already another thread on this topic. A search didn't seem to produce one.

No, that's not a palmetto. The add states it started turning calico ay 3 years of age. Palmettos are born that way (and much more white).

I wonder if it's similar to the calico corns back in the late 90's:

Didn't calicos come with some health issues or has that been bred out?

And the ad is no longer there.

Ah thanks for the replies. I'm not familiar with Calicos at all. I was just curious about the genetics involved.
