if you take that log and submerge it in water, he may swim out. You'd be surprised where a tiny corn snake can fit himself and you not even be able to see him.

You don't need to force him out. He'll come out, and then take it away or saw the blind limb off.

I put I pinkie up in the area last night, where I could still see it but where he could get to it easily, he took the bait so now I know at least for sure that he's in there. My plan is to get a better hide that has been recommended to me and wait until I see him come out and switch them so he still has a hide but I don't go through that again!

Another case of the Hide Log of Horror!

Always remember- if you can't find your snake in his viv- don't leave the lid off!!

I use Aspen shavings and I was sure my snake had escaped. I was taking the whole setup down when she turned up hidden in the Aspen shavings, which I had already gone through several times. So keep looking! rosette55
