Getting tired of it...

Quiet, Quiet,quiet...

quiet, quiet, quiet.
I can't believe you folks haven't booted me for my typing (or lack of) skills.

And if I can throw this out. The Information Superhighway is many things. Impersonal is one of them. A small group of us just went to Reptile World Serpentarium last weekend. I had a great time afterward at Chili's talking to Mike, Greg and Nanci, Katie, Chris, and Paul and his kids. We had many discussions on reptiles; I learned a thing or two myself. We had good civil conversations even when disagreeing on subjects. It was great to exchange information and knowledge.
I know on occasion I have a hard time typing my thoughts into words. We read posts according on how we interpret them. Someone may have been thinking in tongue in cheek; someone else may read it as sarcasm. Voice and tone and intention are lost on the internet. :)

Galen, Desert Animal, you guys are awesome. I didn't even see it.

Nanci

At first I thought you meant you didn't see that we are awesome, but now I see that isn't so. Whew! That would have been crazy talk.

What the heck is with
all the haiku stuff right now?
Did I miss something?

And I miss some of the silly fun conversations like the old Haiku poetry threads.
It seems you did miss,
What was listed before you,
Now you are current.

Man! And I thought we'd finally gotten past all this haiku stuff!

:nope: :nope:

Since I do couplets instead of haiku
I cannot really respond to you.

Haiku for you

the two true constants:
No changes are permanent;
and time heals all wounds.

Love cornsnakes.com!
What would I do without it?
Hope I don't find out.

I'm sorry to say
but I feel your husbandry
is very lacking

I may be a Newb,
but my heart's in the right place:
what's best for all snakes.

Darn, it's 3:15!
have to rise in 4 hours.
See y'all tomorrow.

and let it begin with me...

love me some Haiku. :crazy02:
thought it would be difficult
quite easy to do.

Almost 8am. :sidestep:
It's time to make the donuts.
I need some coffee.

But that's what you get
When you try to stay up late.
Won't do that again! :nope:

I could call out sick...
But then my check will be short.
Oh, well... nevermind. :shrugs:

This is so much fun! :grin01:
I should start a Haiku thread,
if no one else has.

sad ones

Zoe our black cat
euthanized at nineteen years.
Goodbye you beauty!

I'm reeling with grief,
then Clyde throws up his pinky.
He and I suffer.

...sorry, folks. :(

Comments great by all
Katie, Trevor, Dale, Mike, Tim
Kathy, Cheryl, Too

Due to those above
I have kept my mouth shut tight
Breeding coming soon!

Haiku kinda sucks . . . :sidestep:

I think I like couplets better,
I don't have to count each letter.

Tom- I _love_ the photos of the KSBs you post. I have learned so much about them by asking questions that I didn't even know I had until I saw the pics. I just want you (and every one) to know that the pics are so valuable as a learning experince.

Nanci

Nanci I'm happy you enjoyed them! I'm also pleased that I could be of help!
