I know of several people right now going through life threatening health issues. I can only do so much, and this is something I can do.

Brent, you are really awesome for caring about your students the way you do.
Just got home and had the time to sit down and read through all your responses so far. Thanks a ton for the donations! Seriously. I don't do it for anything other than knowing that when/if I can help I do my best to try. We learned as a family during the past year and a half that life can throw you curve ball so fast . . . well, we've had a pretty darn lucky year and half considering the "what ifs" with my mother in law and sister in law.

Thank you for caring so much about others! We need more people who care in the world.

More thanks for more donations. With the CarePages site, that's set up by the family and I have nothing to do with that. I linked to that site so those that are curious can see what this strong young girl is going through.

I haven't had the chance to rummage through PayPal and my emails yet, but I'll check into the donation/gift thing. I know it's an option one way or another in there.

I've PM'ed this to a couple of people, but it's a quick kick to the gut looking into a 13 year old girls face and having 40 year old eyes stare back at you. This girl looked death in the face at age 10 and 11 and thought she won. It's round two.

I looked into it, and yes, choose "gift" not donation. I've made the change in the original post as well. As for you being charged for the gift, that occurs if the gift payment is made by debit or credit card. If it comes directly from your PP account or your bank account there is no charge to you.

I missed this the first time through. Yes, you can donate as much as you'd like as often as you'd like for chances up to the deadline next Friday. I haven't gotten to your email yet, but will PM you when I do.

Thanks again,
D80
