Aww, shame about the little normal J9

But the other hatchlings are gorgeous plump little things, congrats again!

Thanks Susie. Pearl's eggs are huge, so I'm expecting monster babies from her!

I know, Wade. I'm glad I got up the courage to remove his egg, and ended his fight today, rather than waiting 'til tomorrow. I'm not going to post the really graphic photos,
Oh, update!!! Another amel is hatched!

real sorry the little normal didn't make it. but atleast you have the rest of his/her clutch mates and a couple more clutches on the way.

Thanks Nanci. I have no way of telling (should have marked it), but I suspect it was from the egg that I rehydrated.
I've bred finches, gerbils and guineapigs before, so have learnt to accept that you don't always get just the happy endings.
I'll thaw it out for Skeeter at some point, so I won't feel the loss was in vain.
