No signs of action at all from the other two clutches. Because they're both clumped and half buried I'll only see when the top ones start pipping, I'll ask a question about it on a new thread.

Sorry about your little kinked one. I had 2 in a clutch that had kinks like that. It makes you feel so bad for them.

Ok, something weird. One of the amels had a little bit of a hernia, so I put it in a tub with damp tissue. 4 days later I checked on it and found this object. The hernia seems to have healed well, with only a short stump protruding. The hatchling had pooped, so what on earth is this?
My wild speculations went from 'It's pulled its guts out', to 'It's regurgitated egg contents'.
