They are just het. for Bloodred and still they have the strange pattern.... Based on the headpattern they are for sure Masque.
I think the main reason for that is Masque not Bloodred...as you know nearby every Bloodred has also Masque inside. Especially if you have pied bloods.
I did the pairing (Bloodred, Motley/stripe and tessera) on purpose.
Target was to erase the sidepattern completely. With the combination of these 3 morphs it is possible ;-))
Here a Granitemotley/stripeTessera also out of this clutch.
As you see no sidepattern at all!
Next year i will pair the tessera with my Amberblood het Motley or striped as i am quite sure that there is no Masque involved in my Amberblood.
If the hatchling do not look so strange like this year than for sure homo Masque is the reason for this strange tessera pattern.
