Curved Viv

Has anyone gone so far with the construction and design of a viv as to make a curved design? I'm not saying the glass because that would be waaaaay too expensive, but has anyone used plywood sheeting and glued it together in a specific shape?
Kind of similar construction to a skateboard, use multiple layers glued together to form a rigid structure. I thought this could be a really neat and unique idea for creating a viv.
Thoughts?

Completely not snake related, but when I worked for Petco many many years ago they sold these quarter circle takes that were pretty big (I believe roughly 65 gallons). I wanted to buy four to make a circle and then put different animals in each one. Or I wanted to get a huge circle tank and build an island in the center with a pool around it so my water dragon could have a big place to swim... Didn't do it though because I joined the military....

Damn now that would have been awesome! It's too bad about that you didn't go through with it, but hey, I have a ton of respect for you joining the military.

Well thank you but it was probably the biggest mistake of my life, personal reasons. I have many problems physically and mentally because of it now. Wish I could've stayed in though. Was really looking forward to seeing the blue ocean of madness lol

That tank is groovy. Not sure if it's yours or a pic found on the net... any clue what lives in it?

I built it thank you!
A prototype. Learned a few lessons for sure. I'm working on a smaller size right now.

A female adult beauty snake lives in it. She gets the house and her mate is in an apartment (rack) with the other beauty's LOL
Hard to see but that's a birds nest at the top of the bamboo. She loves curling up in it. This particular beauty is an egg eater in the wild and will climb trees to get to them.
My avatar is a beauty snake.

Wow daddio..that takes my tank idea and brings it to a whole new level!
Curved glass may be a bit to pricey though, but I guess acrylic sheeting could do just fine :)

Yeah, something like that would be really awesome for an arboreal... nice green tree python or amazon tree boa would look stunning displayed in there.

Here's a tank a made for my girlfriends Crested geckos. there is 1.2 hiding in the vines. Basic. No heat or lights. More lessons learned for sure.
Hopefully will have it worked out for local sales in the spring.

Thanks for all the compliments :)

Here's a curved front vivarium about the size of a 10 gallon tank.
Thought the blue aquarium filter was a good idea but will be changing it to something that looks better. The steel mesh screen protects the frogs and anole from the heat lamp. The wires come out the side because the back can open up fully or just a 3rd of it.
