Slugs?

Hello there! I have a cornsnake that recently surprised us and laid a clutch of 10 eggs! We bought her from someone and were told she was about three years old (we've had her for a year and a half now and were told she was a male). Anyways, a few of her eggs look like definite slugs but I decided to just hold onto them anyways for now and see what happens (I'm guessing she was never with another snake but who knows? :shrugs:) One of the eggs has a red line on it and I can't seem to find anything online that says what that may be from or why that would happen. Any ideas? Thanks and this is my first time posting on a forum so if I did something incorrectly please let me know!

Holly

I have heard of snakes holding sperm for up to a year, but a year and a half is a stretch. I'd guess the eggs are all slugs, but do let us know. The red line is another matter. I can't remember seeing a line like that that wasn't just blood from the laying process.
