Progression: Shadow the Eastern Indigo Snake

Eastern indigos are getting higher on my list, but their penchant for painting with poop keeps me from dwelling on it too much. :) Someday.

Shadow sure has a cute shiny face! LOL.

After reading up a bit on Indigos, I see they have really Nasssssssty poo!!!!

So far no painting. I’m sure in due time. Good news is I knew all about the poo situation going in.

So far it’s not nearly as bad as anyone said. I’m sure I’ll grow into it, he he.

Karl ... well, I guess if your diet was "1 day old pinks, a 1 day chick thigh and a small silverside" you might have a messy poo also! (I know I would!:eek1:)

Painting with Poo is wildly accepted now. Somebody did that in a big New York City Art Gallery a few years ago and it was all the rave.

why not? I saw somebody selling paintings one time that were painted by an Elephant. People were buying them up.

You don't have to tell everyone "It's Poo."

Put spray shellac on the artwork! It'll seal in the aroma. Once the sales start, he'll be "self-funded" in no time. You can be his manager.

Just a little update on today's feeding. I was hoping that Shadow's new found enthusiasm for eating was not a fluke. No, he's got it down now. It is amazing. I almost couldn't get the prey picked up fast enough with the feeding tongs. There was no chance to get pictures, he swallowed it so fast. He's really gotten with the program. Feeding him is really fun and easy now!

Thank you
I love to hear how you and shadow are getting on

Glad to hear Shadow is eating blissfully! It's great when you get to the point you're not stressing over 'will he or won't he' eat on his own! :dancer:

LOL I just happened to think....... Feed him something that will produce a really colorful poo. You know, for the art work.
