water dish question

So i needed a better water dish for my baby corn and happened upon this at work:

its a Fiestaware dish thats about 4 inches across and 1.5 inches deep. Would this be safe to use?

FYI, I got it for about $1.75 after my discount

It is safe and will work just fine for awhile. The only potential problem I foresee is that a large enough snake would be able to tip it and spill the water.

Oh yeah. That'll work just fine! But like Susan said, when he gets bigger, he'll be able to tip it over.
