Question Humidity Issues

Okay now...humidity...what is acceptable humidity for corns.?. I live in Chicago so humidity is summer only with a/c its nonexistant..I was reading the Corn Snake Manual..should I just try and cover the top to get proper humidity or should I take a spray bottle every so often and mist the enclosure too.. MIDWEST WEATHER SUCKS...too much weather/temp change!! Sorry to post so many questions but as I get closer to my corns arrival date I want everything in line before my snake arrives.. Thanks in advance

Cujo

Hey Cujo,
You can always put a small container with damp moss in the viv. I keep one in all my snake vivs. This would allow the snake to go back and forth as it likes. That should help with any shedding issues. You will need to check it every couple days to make sure that it's still damp.
I hope that this helps,
Jimmy

I don't worry about humidity in fact I don't even think about it. As long as your snake has a water dish large enough to soak in humidity isn't a problem. What can be a problem is to much humidity, lots of nasty things can grow in a too humid environment. IMHO
