Frozen Storage

Hi All,

Just a quick question of keeping a good supply of mice, since my last ones ended up freezer burnt, I decided to use the food saver to keep them in individual meal pouches. Has anyone else used this and any negatives or problems?
Figured if it is good enough for my chicken it should work for the feeder mice.
Thanks,

I use a food saver and it will help tremendously with freezer burn. Feeders can be kept for a year without problems in the food saver bags.

The link posted above is for those who don't want to use or spend the money on a food saver system and that method works good as well.

I'd suggest using either method. Just putting them in a ziploc bag they will have freezer burn in as little as a two weeks.

Thanks guys, I used the food saver- my husband was like no mouse goo better get on it- LOL- it was pretty easy. I do recommend the bags that are already in two compartments, it was much better after I found those. Hope the mice last longer because I stocked up.

That sounds like a good idea
I put the mice in baggies
Push all the air out and they last three months without a problem
