Tequila Sunrise Project hatchlings

Sean Niland over at VMS sent me a handful of these to look at. It's believed that the TS female is an ultramel anery het hypo. One of the interesting things about these is the appearance of a plain-belly phenotype. Not sure where this is coming from but it doesn't appear to be what I'd expect out of the motley gene. So I'm going to raise a male with the plain belly and test breed him. (Sean will also be doing tests next year against diffusion and motley.)

Anyway here are the pics:

First up is F024-05F. I'm not sure exactly who the parents are, I will see if Sean can tell me. :)

WOW!They all look amazing, but that pink one is out of this world!I'll be looking forward for progression pics and test breeding data.

A gorgeous group! The pink highlight over the saddles on the one looks almost exactly like what my high-pink snow had on him when he was born...it continued to get brighter with each shed and eventually became the bright pick saddle coloration.

Wow! I'd love to have some of those guys.. Especially one or two with those lovely pinks.. Thanks for giving me something else to ponder.. :grin01:

WOW! I definately look forward to watching the progression on those

Great use of the mirror  The pictures look great.

Serp, any of them with the ID #'s ending in 24 are from the F1 Anery X F1 Snow, #37's F1 Anery X F1 Ghost, and #70's an F1 Ghost X mom, the suspect ultramel Anery (the Tequila Sunrise" (per Seans site)...All the F1's should be het hypo, and the anery A's and ghosts het amel or ultra...

Been watching that progression too, my F1's from that line will breed next year :)...and my snow's yellow sure looks a bit like "diffused yellow" ;)

I'd love to have one of those myself :) But I'm confused... what pink ones are everyone seeing that I'm not seeing? The only one that looks "pink" to me would be the second one... obviously, I'm not looking at the right thing :(
