Paint safe for inside a viv?

With my current project I plan on painting every thing inside and just got to thinking, what kind of paint should I use that will be safe? I was thinking about spray paint to paint every thing black but im not sure if when its fully cured if it will be safe or not.


Does any one have any ideas or imput on this? I would hate to build this just to find out the paint I used killed my snake.

Once paint is dry it's safe. Most paint you can buy now is latex paint anyway which is safer than lead base oil paint which isn't sold much anymore. You can also use a clear water base clear finish on top if you wish too. This might help too in clean up.

Ok, I was thinking about using black spray paint to get it in every where but I think putting good clear coat over it all inside would be a good idea too. I was just thinking about it and it started to concern me.
