well i figured I could build better hides than the $30 store ones.
so far this project as cost me $12. $5 for the huge bag of rocks, $4 for the adhesive, and $2 for the square dowels I used as beams. I already had the popsicle sticks, and I only added them to give the stones somthing to lean on while the glue sets.

Whoa I love that!! This has totally got my hamster wheel rollin' again!
I think I need more snakes.....so I can keep creating wicked set ups.

Now I think I want to do an old country style viv. Log cabin, creek drinking hole, and maybe some old fallen 'logs' on one side with the greenery.

what type of glue/sylicone are you using that is holding up to the weight of the rocks? Love the idea.. and I agree, I need more snakes so I can have all kinds of themes. xD

outdoor locktite landscaping glue. I"m either going to put it out in the garden for fairies, or I'm going to seal it with Shields-All and put it in my viv. I wouldnt put it in without sealing it though, there's a warning about the fumes during the curing process on the tube.
