The BIG ugly

This for those that like the darker beauty out there. This is the thickest corn I have ever found! She is full of eggs and is about 4ft. For a size comparison I have to wear a XL glove.

This is more true to her real color than the above photo.

Nice, I wish I could find something like that up here. I think there lies an incredible amount of future variation by outcrossing certain morphs into these 'ugly' normals that are out and about. That snake is very dark---what would happen if you produced bloodreds from the hatchlings? Would they have a darker color? What about a lavender? Or a caramel?

Wow David! Awesome find. I've always liked those corns with the heavy "melanin wash" to them. Sweet! Her eyes look a little blue in that first pic, please post an update after the shed. You ought to let Kathy have that pic for the next CSM for the "not all corns are ravishing beauties" caption

Thanks, yes she is in her pre lay shed. I LOVE the melanin washed corns myself and let me tell ya about 90% from my area have 40-90% of melanin washed pattern. I would love to out cross a Bloodred to one of these, I think WCs are the way to bring back the original look.

Excellent find, David :*). Be interesting to see some pics of the babies if and when it is possible...

I think shes quite nice as well. Really nice bronze/copper hue to her.

Kinda grumpy looking though.
