Miscellaneous Corn Snake DiscussionsThis is a "none of the above" forum. All posts should still be related to cornsnakes in one form or another, but some slight off topic posting is fine.
I have looked at care sheets and it has not really said this. If you want put in branches and stuff for them to climb on is it better to have a heat lamp instead of a heat mat?

P.S My mom didn't want a snake so this is pretty amazing. I was talking to my dad about snakes and he said " Why not just get a dog" and my mom said "Why dont we get both" so now were getting both a dog and a snake. I'm so lucky
Well in my corn cage I keep a heat matt and a low wattage heat lamp to obtain the temp. I keep two hides and a climbing tree in the middle of the tank and she seems to love it.
