The Rough Life of a Turtle

I found this girl all tangled in fishing line. As if her life wasn't hard enough already! She cleaned up nicely though...

Gorgeous turtle, and great save. Are my eyes playing tricks on me, or is she missing both her front legs? Hard life, indeed!

I think you can see both front legs in the first pic... so it must be the way she draws them in...

Her front feet are missing, but she was scooting around pretty well with the stumps.

My apologies...

I think that's bark. Both fronts were missing from the knee/elbow down.

Truly a tough life... Poor little girl... but she's strong-willed it seems. Good for her!
