What should I get?

Well, Mom is going to throw down around $150 for a digicam for me for Christmas (you know, in Feb.) I am not sure which I should get. Any input?

Assuming you are looking at point and shoots. I would have to suggest a Nikon coolpix. They have a pretty good macro setting. lots of features and settings to assist in taking good pictures and the price on them ain't bad.

Well, how much are you willing to spend? What types of pictures do you want? It's not easy to just come up with a camera that everyone should buy, especially when you're talking about point and shoot models.

Thank you. I'll look into that one.

I'm not looking for anything super special. Just something that can take decent pics of my snakes. As far as how much am I willing to spend, I have no money for the time being. I was just looking for some feedback from anybody who might have a camera in the same price range. But I should have specified that I am broke and that it is for pics of my snakes.
