Thanks everyone! He's such a special guy. Other than taking him out for feeds and cleans I've only seen him a total of 3 times, so he's like a new baby every time I see him! LOL. I suppose I could take him out more often, but he's so little I usually just leave him to do his thing.

2017 update

Wow have I ever slacked on updating this guy (or girl?)! He/She is huge now compared to these previous pictures. If I remember correctly, I think we're around 175g, and 22". I see him out much more frequently now, and he's actually started using hides, not just burrowing or laying under the water bowl like he used to. He's also gotten quite a bit darker and has very little white left.

Considering I almost never handle him, he's remarkably tame, and has a better feeding response than even my kingsnake. In fact, I have to feed him in a bare bottom tub because he will immediately start trying to eat the paper towel if I put him on one!!! It's actually pretty funny, and I want to try to get it on video one of these days. Anyway, enough stories, time for pictures!!

Thank you, Tavia. I never ever get tired of looking at him either.

I never noticed it before but he looks suprised in all his pictures with those little white eyebrows. LOL. These pictures are honestly the only time I ever really get to look at him so close-up. He's always moving in real life.

She's a girl!!

Little update on this "guy". He's a girl! She laid eggs for me all summer last year, lost a lot of weight doing it, I could barely feed her enough to keep up. This year, she hasn't laid a single one, but still acts just as hungry. I've gotten her weight back up (possibly even a little over), no problem, and she's happy as a clam. She's now 29" long and 271 grams. No real change in her appearance, but 5" growth since I last measured her in 2017!

I had posted these pictures in my other thread wondering about their lifespan, but figured I should also put them here, in her progression thread as well. Not great pictures, just a couple quickies that I took when I was pulling all my snakes out to measure (on serpwidgets). Enjoy!

Thank you! She even kept a little of her white, which I figured was all going to disappear.

Very nice snake!
The good thing about Forums as compared to Social Media Platforms is that you can actually tra e back old posts and pics and see the changes as they grow!
