We hit 74 degrees in southern Wisconsin last Sunday and I observed my first large snake of 2014. This Western Foxsnake was around 4 feet long. It vibrated it's tail a bit when I got close, but otherwise didn't seem to mind getting it's photo taken. I wish my captive bred snakes were so cooperative.
