Also, I plugged that in to WOB and it said if you crossed an albino and candy you would get all normals that were double het for candino (het albino het candy). So to get candinos you would need to pair an albino het candy to a candy het albino.

Or I guess you could pair two normals who were double het for candino

The WOB genetics wizard is wrong, as it doesn't account for the fact that albino and candy are allelic (ie, they are both different mutations in the same gene). A ball python het for candy and het for albino will show the candino phenotype because they have no wild type allele at the albino locus.

I'll send you my trick over PM shortly!

He shed a couple days ago and the purples are starting to come through more. This is crappy artificial lighting but hopefully I can get a pic in natural lighting when I feed him tomorrow (maybe he'll let me get his face in it next time). He was being *very* active. If I didn't know better I would say this little guy is affectionate. Definitely not your typical ball python. Words can't describe how much I adore him!

Quick update. His purples are really coming through but the camera just won't do them justice, it's like trying to take pictures of coral snows. Plus he's on a mission to explore the world!

Very nice. Love that lavender base. Hope he keeps it up.
I love my bps, such easy going animals. My favorite is my queen bee.

His purples get darker with every shed...I wonder what he will look like when they are fully developed? Sadly the camera turns his purples into more of a grayish color :/
