So... does anyone have any hints on how to measure the length of your snake? Mine is so squeamish and i dont think i can make him stretch out his whole lenght long enough to get his measurements... hes a wiggley little guy!! any tips/techniques you guys have would be appreciated!! thanks!!
I use a piece of yarn, I hold the tip of the yarn by their head, and run it along their body as they move and then mark it once I am to the end of the snake. Then I measure the yarn.
I like the looks of serp's program, I've never used that, I think I will have to try it today.
Sheds can stretch anywhere from 10 to 30 percent, so they're not a reliable means of measurement. Short of writing integrals (hey, I'm a geek), Serp's program is about as good as it gets.
