Hi, was just looking for the cost of an ADULT caramel stripe (I'm not actually looking for a snake to buy, sorry!) I know hatchlings are usually around $85-$100, but I can't seem to find the price of an adult one. Also, is the price of an adult usually about twice as much as a hatchling?
Id been on the hunt for an adult caramel stripe for a while now. After finding zero for sale, i resigned myself to getting a 2010 baby. Most breeders quoted me between 100 and 125$. And of course id have to have them shipped. Thats just too much for my blood. So instead of buying a baby, i emailed Kathy Love. She didnt have anything advertised, but i took a chance. As luck would have it, i got a Bayou Reptiles stock 07 caramel stripe male for 175$ shipped.
I think adults almost always command a high price because they can be readily bred. I dont know if double baby cost is quite accurate, but maybe close. It would depend on the morph.
If you are looking for a visual Adult Caramel Stripe for a collection I can't help. But I know someone locally that have a male Adult Butter Stripe for $150. That would cover you for Caramel, Amel and Butter Stripe with regard to breeding. It's a beautiful animal too.
My butters mom and dad are from the Bayou Reptile stock. He's beautiful!
