I have just been out to do my normal nightly feeding and checking of my mice when I noticed one of the houses had had a couple of pinkies, there was a bit of blood and I thought they had eaten a couple but whilst I was standing watching quietly I noticed her giving birth to a few more and it was the afterbirth they were eating and not the pinks.

It is nice to see they have a nice little colony going whilst one was giving birth teh other female was feeding the pinks for her.

yep it's nice when they help each other rather then wait eagerly behind her only to eat them as they come out.. Ewwwww...
