All "Others" Photo GalleryIt was suggested to me that a photo gallery for the other critters and interests might be useful to the membership. So here you go, Walt. :)
Went camping in Chickahominy campground, near Williamsburg, Virginia and got home yesterday (July 27). While camping I took a short hike and found this guy out in the open and he took off for the underbrush. He did NOT want any part of me trying to get a photo! I had to hunt him down for awhile but found him again long enough to get a couple of pics. I imagine it's just a common black snake.
Karl ... I stay away from black snakes! They are just born mean. Of course, they would rather escape and be left alone, but will turn on you if they feel threatened. I'll just leave them alone for sure!
