Very very odd... And very neat. I hope it's heritable. That could be a very interesting morph to play with. (I wonder if you could use it to produce ghost-snows?)

You know, I've been thinking about that animal quite a bit lately (shows how important MY thinking has become, Huh?). What if it is a tyrosinase positive animal with an incomplete distribution of the amelanism? That is found in other animals ona semi-frequent basis. What if it has now erupted into cornsnakes?

If it turned out to be so, it would be another form of amelanism that would be indistinguishable from the first one and incompatible with it as well. Wait a minute . . .maybe that wouldn't be as coold as I first thought!

Actually I have gotten several odd looking specimens from that bloodline. A couple of years ago I had the entire group of adults marked as being on surplus because nothing extraordinary had come from them and I really didn't need to keep them around. Fortunately the interesting results showed up before I had gotten rid of them all, but I did sell of some before I realized there was a joker in the deck.

I am amazed at the number of really interesting animals I have gotten from adults that I ALMOST got rid of.

Makes me scared to death to get rid of anything lately....

Hey Rich,

I know your really busy and all but....any chance of seeing an updated pic of this animal? I bet it has changed a lot since that pic.

Hah!

There are a LOT of things I want to get updated photos of, but probably won't happen. I am steeling myself to tackle the work room so I can blaze a path to the milling machine. I need to make up some more of those deli cup water dishes before the babies hatch out and this "free" time I have now evaporates.

The work room isn't TOO bad, I guess. I can still see the milling machine, so at least I don't have to find it first.

Hey Rich, is this guy still alive? Did you ever try to breed him/her?

Actually, I'm not sure if that one still survives. I had several oddballs from that year, and I recall one of them died at about 3 years of age. Not sure if it was this one or another. Since this one hatched out in 2002, I would think I would have bred it if it were still around. But I did get rid of that entire stock this came out of......

Hope that guys still around some where. Think of what that would look like if it could be reliably bred and combined with some other morphs. lavender and anery come to mind. Oh and how about cinder

It almost looks like he's got some extra skin, if you know what i mean, with all those folds in his curves. I've seen creases plenty, but never folds like that.

The creases are just because he was having trouble with his first shed. That went away with subsequent sheds. I'm doing an inventory of all my animals right now, so maybe he will turn up somewhere.......
