Snake acting differently!

Hello, hello!

I have a two month or so old corn snake, and I've noticed that lately he's been acting a lot more... curious, I suppose would be the best description! He's much more active, and keeps tapping the glass of his tank with the tip of his nose.

I'm super new to corn snakes, so I don't know if this behavior is okay or not! It just started today, and today also happens to be the day I changed his substrate type after doing a bit of research. I also fed him today, and he ate just fine.

Is he just exploring his new substrate? Or should I be concerned?

And just an fyi: I call him a "he" but I'm actually unsure of his sex!

Thank you!
