Super tessera

Has a super tessera actually been produced and proven? I see a lot of mention of possible super tesseras and even own one myself but I don't recall seeing anybody that can fully confirm a super. Tesseras have been around long enough now I would think someone should have made a super by now.

Super tesseras have definitely been produced. What hasn't been identified yet is if there are any visual markers that would allow for identifying super tesseras without having to do breeding trials.

Heather at Mystic Exotics has what she is pretty sure is a "Super".

There are at least three that are known.

I don't have a proven one, but I have 7 out of 16 Tessera's from a Miami Tessera X Miami Tessera pairing. I bred one last year, and he was not a Homo (Super) Tessera. I haven't heard from those who have the others yet on breeding trials.

I have two to four that I will be testing this coming year.
The ones that produce 100% Tessera's will be bred again to be sure.

I'm trying to get away from using "Super" because I don't think it's the right descriptor for how the gene works. There are no known markers to distinguish Homo from Het Tessera's.

What do you think they should be called to discern between the two? Or just call them homo/het

I'm not aware of a term/descriptor that would be appropriate aside from Homo/Het.
