Tessera clutch #2 has begun to hatch!

MysticExotics

(formerly NWHeather)
This clutch is out of my light Miami phase girl,Kaia. They started pipping yesterday morning (my birthday) :) & the first one didn't emerge until early this morning.
The first one to hatch is a normal. Looks like it will end up a light color like its momma.

My phone won't let me upload images.:(

I will add some pics this afternoon when I get back home.

Babies!!

Thank you all for being patient. I have been gone all day & came home to 6 out of 18 had hatched. 3 Tessera's & 3 Normal's.
They all weighed in at 6grams each.

I think these ones are going to end up lighter like their momma. They're hatching out a bit lighter than Mica's clutch did.

I love how they look Miami-ish :)

Nick, it takes one Tessera to make Tessera's. This pairing was a Tessera male with a Miami-phase female. Half of the babies should be Tesseras.

Babies # 8 & 9 have emerged, more normals. The other babies should all or almost all be Tessera's.
I love how these babies have a Miami-ish look already!

#10 & 11 are wrapping up the hatchlings for today. Another Normal & finally, another Tessera. LOL

I found an egg that went bad & assumed that brought the count down to 17 eggs, (I originally counted 18), but it looks like I missed an egg, & there should be 18 good eggs, plus one that went bad. That said, there *should* be 5 more Tessera's left to hatch.

I am very pleased with how these babies are turning out!

**Tara, are you seeing these babies?? :)

Thank you! Two more babies have hatched! Both are Tessera's!! Bringing the Tessera count for this clutch up to 6 so far, 10 Normals. There's two eggs left to hatch. One has pipped, the other has not yet. I'm hoping they're both Tessera's.

Here are babies #14, 15, 16 & 17.

One more egg to hatch, it hasn't pipped yet, so it won't be tonight, I'm sure.
