Well I have done it. My fiance' has joined my addiction.... He saw this little girl and just had to get her. But he wants to make sure that I am correct that she is a diffused. The only thing that throws me off is the grey going threw coloring

Yep that is diffused. Nice bald head. It is hard to see color so I don't see the gray you are taking about but you will probably see her get brighter with each shed.
 
Corns change color a great deal as they age. She'll get more and more red/orange as she ages.
 
Yep, my diffused boy looked just like that, grey and all. The grey on the body fills in fairly quickly. Max is around 6 months old now and its all disappeared. He still has his grey head though.
